Are you putting in the work?

Are you putting in the work?

Do you realize according to Philippians 1:6, Father God began doing a good work in you, before your arrival on earth? And I am sure He will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again. If that’s not good news, I don’t know what good news is when I hear it. I am more than excited about God’s work in your life and that it will soon unfold and allow you to impact the world, in a way that only you can do. Have you ever had the grand idea of what you would do if you knew you would not fail? In full disclosure, I am a dreamer. I have also been fearful about trying new things. But what I have come to know is that dreamers who are focused and committed to their dreams become executors of dreams. What dreams are you waiting to see unfold? Have you sought Father God? Have you conducted the research? Are you putting in the work? Are you learning from your mistakes?

If you have answered an honest “yes” to at least one of the questions above, you are on the right track to confidently finish strong as you enter the next phase of your life. Why shouldn’t you? I am the first to admit that despite your best efforts to do all the things, life continues to life. But guess what? Now, is a great time to re-position. It takes more than a vision board (though it’s a great start), to bring your dreams to fruition. My coach Jasmine Womack refers to your work as sweat equity. If you are willing to bet on yourself and invest in yourself, indeed you are worthy of reaping a mighty harvest.
I am sending encouragement to you right now to finish strong. We used to sing a song years ago entitled “I Feel Like Going On. The encouraging part of the song for me is, when it says, though trials may come on every hand I feel like going on.  Finishing strong is an attitude. I believe in you, and you should never allow someone to believe in you more than you believe in yourself. What if you knew that the world is counting on you; the love, the joy, and the peace you have to be spread abroad?

The purpose of my book “Finishing Strong, Strategies For Baby Boomers To Transform Dreams Into Realities is, to encourage you in the fact that God have provided us with so much in terms of skills, gifts, talents and abilities, however, the problem is, how long will you self-doubt missing the assignment entirely? Your goals should reflect completing every good work assigned to you by God, and not just completing it, but in grand style—I call it “finishing strong”.
